My approach

  • You first: Your child and their family's views, thoughts and needs are placed at the heart and centre of my care so everyone feels fully informed, listened to, understood, safe and supported.

  • I honour and respect different ways of being, thinking, and communicating as a neurodiversity-affirming Speech and Language Therapist.

  • My approach is holistic, child and family - centred to meet the needs of the individual and the team around them.

  • I encourage and support individual differences in Children and Young people where I identify and embrace their natural strengths and abilities.

  • I believe that all brains are different and different is not a disorder. My work is underpinned by radical acceptance, genuine joy and curiosity for what the child needs.

  • I aim to support your child to reach their communication potential and help your whole family authentically connect and communicate!
